1993 Bridgestone MB1 (Sold)

This a rare badge to see nowadays. Bridgestone bikes like the MB-1 and MB-0 Zip are hard to find nowadays.

The frame in its original condition.

There was rust all over the bike. Each rusty patch was carefully removed.

The original MB-1 decal which was removed in the process.

A small dent on the seat tube.

More rust in unseen places.

The process of cleaning and removing all the gunk.

Prestige Logic tubing by Tange; they do not make steel bikes like this anymore.

The original Shimano Deore XT front derailleur after refurbishment.

The original Shimano Deore XT 7-speed rear derailleur also after refurbishment.

Original Dia Compe 987 brakes.

Custom made Bridgestone decal and the original Zefal water bottle holder. My version of the MB-1 decal.

All done up after 6 months. A real beauty from every angle.

Dia Compe 987 brakes are so simple and effective.

Good old thumb shifters that never breaks no matter what you throw at it.
